FORCE GIRLS VOLLEYBALL PROGRAM SEEKS HEAD COACH

Full Job Description

The Frederick Force is a successful, competitive volunteer sports organization that is seeking an energetic, knowledgeable, and collaborative volleyball coach to manage our girls’ homeschool volleyball programs. Programs may include open gyms, camp week, practices, games, and a three-four day end-of-season tournament.  This position requires a heartfelt commitment to Christ and a passion to develop faith in the players while training excellence in volleyball skills at the Varsity and/or Junior Varsity level.

Responsibilities

– manage and deliver exceptional youth volleyball programs

-assist with the development of future volleyball programs

-work with the athletic director to schedule, promote, and execute volleyball programs

-serve as the head coach of the volleyball program

Schedule

-practice and/or games up to four days per week (August – October)

-open gyms as able (June and July)

-possible summer camp participation/leadership (depending on personal schedule)

This role provides flexibility in schedule and a team of volunteers that support the coach and the program.  A coach’s stipend will be paid at the end of the season.
